From the north, take the road to the right till you reach the exit to Champagne.
From the south, take the road to the left for 1,600 metres after Andance.

Go through the village.

At the church square, continue straight ahead on the D.406 towards Colombier le Cardinal.

From there, the route is marked with arrows pointing to "ROCHEVINE", 3 km away (1.3 km by the D.406 road then 1.7 km by a wide lane you can drive down to the right following the line of the old rail track).

1,700 metres further on, you'll come to the car park and the discovery trail departure point.

Whichever of the two departure points you choose, this footpath is lined with ten information boards which relate the history and culture of the site and of the Saint Joseph appellation, the village of Saint Désirat and the surrounding area. Plus, it affords a fabulous view across the Rhône Valley.

Finish your walk with a pleasant visit to the Galerie de Rochevine, the restored train tunnel, just a few steps from the car park.
